Meet the Team

Olivia Crossing

Olivia Crossing is the Founder of Worksights LTD and creator of RateMyShift – a digital feedback tool that captures real-time insights from the workforce to drive cultural change in the NHS and beyond. A Registered Nurse, Professional Nurse Advocate, NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, and current Sister on an acute surgical unit, Olivia is dedicated to improving staff well-being and communication.

She developed RateMyShift during the COVID-19 pandemic in response to the lack of everyday feedback and psychological safety in healthcare. The platform empowers staff to share experiences, helps managers build trust, and supports retention and morale from the ground up. Olivia is deeply involved in the product's design and delivery, using her clinical experience to ensure it meets the real-world needs of both staff and leadership.

RateMyShift has been widely recognised, winning the 2021 HSJ Patient Safety Poster Competition and being shortlisted for both 2024 Nursing Times Digital Award, and named as a finalist in the 2025 Nursing Times Workforce Awards. In 2025, Annie, alongside Olivia, won the Technology and Data in Nursing category at the Nursing Times Awards. With a background shaped by military family values, Olivia brings a strong ethos of safety, empathy, and connection to her mission of transforming healthcare workplaces for the better.
